Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for visiting my website.  For the last five years, I have been
proud to serve as your Borough President, and I am excited and focused on the
future of our great borough and city. In the year ahead, I will be launching
a program to bring 10,000 unbanked households into the banking system, and
focusing on diversifying the city’s economy through the transfer of technology
from universities to entrepreneurs. Additionally, I plan to continue my work in
improving the way the Department of Education deals with school overcrowding,
as well as increasing city officials’ awareness of the role food policy can play in
public health, the environment, and job creation. 

We live in the best city in the world, and I am excited to build on that greatness
within Manhattan and throughout the city.
